Capital Link helps health centers navigate the "Capital Development Process,” a series of six linked phases that we believe are necessary to successfully complete a capital improvement project. Some of these phases occur sequentially – but many occur simultaneously. Often health center capital projects are completed without a detailed plan of action. The level of planning may vary, but lack of planning typically results in the health center finding itself in a position of having to finance more than anticipated and/or needing another expansion before the construction project is completed or soon thereafter. Capital Link provides assistance to health centers to help them avoid making unnecessary mistakes in completing a capital project.


 Capital Development Process


Capital Link provides the following programs and services to guide health centers through the capital development process. Each health center we work with has unique needs; we endeavor to meet those needs on an individual basis.

Operations and Transitioning Planning

Customized consulting that defines the most effective and efficient methodology for delivering health center services in an existing or new facility. Capital Link assists health centers with determining operations and space plans, evaluating staff and financial resources, and considering cultural realities and community norms.
