Predictive analytics is becoming more applicable to health care, and will eventually become essential for health centers to improve patient care, reduce costs, and negotiate favorable contracts with payers. Predictive Analytics: An Overview for Community Health Centers, a new resource developed by Capital Link and NACHC, provides health centers with a summary of predictive analytics, its history and development, the data and resources needed to predict a patient’s future behavior, and how health centers can begin utilizing it.
