We want to congratulate Northwest Human Services (NWHS) in Salem, OR for recently closing a $13.9 million New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) leveraged transaction to provide funding for a renovation and expansion project for its West Salem Clinic. Upon completion in 2022, the project will add over 32,000 square feet to the existing 18,000 square-foot clinic to ultimately accommodate not only medical, dental, and behavioral health services, but also business offices and IT. Capital Link successfully guided NWHS’s pursuit and attraction of $13 million of NMTC allocation for this project and then assisted the health center with closing this transaction.
